The GAP clothing chain just announced they plan to close 189 stores in America while expanding their presence in China. I wonder if they plan to sell American made clothing in their Chinese stores? Seems like it would only be fair!

I heard the other day, but haven’t done any research at all to see how valid the comment was, that Lowe’s was planning to close 200 stores nationwide, but none in Kentucky. It sounds like we, as a country, are falling fast. It reminds me of the cloud my high school class was under our entire four years – that a nuclear war was imminent, so it didn’t really matter what we did as life as we knew it would soon be over anyway. It’ probably partly why I had already graduated high school without having applied to college. What kind of a grassroots campaign would it take to get things like CCC going again so people without jobs could get involved and sent at least a little money home?
Should I ask questions like these on Facebook where more people might comment?
