I and many others have been critical of the historical accuracy of several in this year’s crop of GOP candidates. Everyone makes the occasional gaff but Michelle Bachmann obviously grew up studying different history and geography textbooks than most of us did. She may not be the front-runner in the polls but she is certainly a contender for having made the most unsupportable claims about American History.
