Nate Cockrell recently started a Facebook group entitled Committee for the Advancement and Preservation of Greenfield. Its purposes are exactly as its name implies, find solutions to the problems facing our community. Active participants, to date, have attempted to compose a list of Greenfield’s assets, trying to look at the positives and work from those not the negatives. An asset inventory has begun and is growing but the comments of many others would be helpful.

So, if you’re on Facebook I urge you to become a member of the group and to make your ideas known. The conversation needs to begin someplace and the virtual meeting hall of social media is a lot more convenient than giving up an evening on the sofa.
